Those who like their combat precise may find Dandara rather chaotic, but I love the manic jumping trying to be sly with your jumps to get one over on your enemies. There are a couple of areas later on which are perhaps a bit naughty in terms of spamming the more annoying enemies to up the difficulty, but overall the combat remains engaging and gets satisfyingly challenging. Knowing when to strike and when to dodge is the key to not getting slaughtered, and there's enough enemy variety to keep you on your toes. The speedy jumps combined with the slow attack give combat a unique pace where you have to find the right spot to charge your attack, then often leap immediately after to avoid projectiles. Your shot has a charge time, and priming it can leave you open to attack.
